Mission, Vision, and Core Values

Mission

Our mission is to provide high quality lactation support and information to help families nourish their infants, understand biologically normal behaviors in parent and baby, and build confidence in new parents.

Vision

Our vision is to improve lactation duration rates for all families, by having access to evidence-based, compassionate, and inclusive lactation support.

Core Values

As a client-focused company, it is our goal to provide high quality lactation support and perinatal education by committing to these core values:

Compassion

We believe that parents have the right to make an informed decision regarding their child’s feeding, and that everyone's journey is their own. A family’s infant feeding goals may change over time, and it is our job to support them.

Equity, Equality, and Inclusion

We are committed to reducing race and socioeconomic-disparities in health outcomes by supporting lactation in all cultures, ethnicities and sectors of our community. We believe that lactation care is not a privilege, and that all families should have access to quality support.

Collaboration

We believe that patient-centered team care will lead to higher rates of parent satisfaction, and ultimately help improve lactation duration rates. Pediatricians, lactation counselors, doulas, and other healthcare professionals play a vital role in promoting and supporting lactation in the community.

Integrity

We value honesty, transparency, and dedication to doing what is best for our clients. We provide current, accurate, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive information.
