1. Verify your insurance provider

It’s More Than Milk partners with The Lactation Network (TLN) to provide in-network lactation services to families with many Anthem BCBS PPO, BCBS PPO, Provider Network of America (PNOA), Multiplan, and United Healthcare plans (PPO and HMO). For families with Cigna, we work with Wildflower Health (WH). We do not work with Aetna or Medicaid at this time.

MultiPlan, Anthem BCBS PPO, BCBS PPO, and United Healthcare/UMR:

We are partnered with The Lactation Network (TLN) to provide in-network lactation services for families with most MultiPlan, Anthem BCBS PPO, BCBS PPO, and UnitedHealthcare/UMR HMO and PPO plans. Pre-approval must be obtained online prior to our visit. Click the button below to verify. You will receive an email confirmation of your submission, and a separate email confirming or denying your insurance provider’s participation with TLN . A credit card is required to schedule all lactation visits.

Cigna:

We are partnered with Wildflower Health (WH) to provide in-network lactation services for families with Cigna health insurance. Pre-approval must be obtained online prior to our visit. You will receive an email confirming or denying your insurance provider’s participation with Wildflower Health. A credit card is require to schedule all lactation visits.

If your insurance plan is not in network with The Lactation Network or Wildflower Health, we offer self pay rates and can provide you with a lactation super bill for insurance reimbursement. Read about insurance versus self pay. A credit card is required to schedule all lactation visits. TLN and WH can only be used for private prenatal and postpartum lactation visits. Group classes are self-pay only. We do not work with Aetna or Medicaid at this time.

While waiting for a response from TLN or WH, you can schedule your office visit or virtual visit below. Home visits cannot be scheduled online at this time, as their availability is extremely limited and travel fees may apply. If you have any questions, please call or text 817-203-4881.

3. Complete forms

For prenatal and postpartum lactation visits: Please complete your health information forms and consents prior to our visit. They will be sent to you within 24 hours of scheduling your visit. Look for an email from MilkNotes, our charting software.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will be subject to a fee of $50 with the credit card on file. Rescheduling is handled on a case-by-case basis. This applies to self pay, TLN, and WH approved clients.

• Clients more than 15 minutes late to in-person visits and more than 10 minutes late to virtual visits will have a shortened lactation consulting session. Alternatively, the visit may be rescheduled with a fee to a date and time convenient for It’s More Than Milk Lactation Services LLC. This applies to self pay, TLN, and WH approved clients.

• No call, no show in-person visits will be charged a $100.00 fee to the credit card on file. This applies to self pay, TLN, and WH approved clients.

• No call, no show virtual visits will be charged $50.00 fee to the credit card on file. This applies to self pay, TLN, and WH approved clients.
