Initial Postpartum Lactation Consultation

A postpartum visit is usually 1.5 hours, and includes unlimited follow up by phone, text, or email for two weeks after our visit about your care plan. Existing clients are welcome to reach out at anytime. However, if it is determined that additional in-person support is needed or it has been more than two weeks since our visit, a follow up consultation will be recommended. A report of our visit will be emailed to you and faxed to your baby’s pediatrician within 24 hours.

Visit includes:

A full evaluation of parent and baby's medical history
Assistance with latch and proper positioning techniques
Weighed feeding (pre/post feed weights)
Oral assessment of infant
Evaluation of milk transfer
Addressing your primary concerns and challenges
Pumping, bottle feeding, and supplementing (if applicable)
Evidence-based support and education on newborn and baby care
Customized care plan to help family reach their lactation goal

Self pay: $250 plus travel fee

Follow Up Postpartum Consultation

Follow up consultations are a time to check in and ensure that your lactation issue is on the right path to being resolved. This includes unlimited follow up by phone, text, or email for two weeks after our visit about your care plan. Existing clients are welcome to reach out at anytime. However, if it is determined that additional in-person support is needed or it has been more than two weeks since our visit, a follow up consultation may be recommended. A report of our visit will be emailed to you and faxed to your child's pediatrician within 24 hours. While each appointment is different, a visit may include:

Weighed feeding (pre/post feed weights)
Evaluation of milk transfer
Evidence-based support and education on newborn and baby care
Updating your care plan if necessary

Self pay: $200 plus travel fee

Pumping Consultation

This is a standalone service

Many parents exclusively or occasionally pump in order to provide their baby with human milk. Pumping can be a lot of work, but there are many things that can be done to make it an efficient process. Pumping techniques and properly sized parts are crucial to maintaining your milk supply! This standalone service includes follow up by text or email for two weeks after our visit about your care plan. If it is has been more than two weeks since our visit, a follow up consultation may be recommended.

We will discuss techniques to maximize your milk supply, fit you for flange/breast shield, and troubleshoot issues you’re experiencing.
